Cellulose microfiber reinforcement for industrial, commercial, residential, architectural & decorative applications.
Contact Us Product Guide (PDF)Yes, UF500 cellulose fiber accepts integral color better than any other commercially available fiber. It also will accept stains and dyes.
Yes. It finishes smooth without fuzz or blemishes, making it ideal for decorative work.
UltraFiber 500 offers the same crack-resistance and durability benefits but blends in better than polypropylene and won’t corrode like steel.
When dosed at 1.5 lbs. per cubic yard of concrete, UF500 can replace WWF for secondary reinforcement.
It’s designed for non-structural reinforcement. Use steel reinforcement where load-bearing strength is required.
It works in almost any application, including slabs, paving, precast, pervious concrete, curbs and gutters, architectural and decorative finishes, shotcrete, and more.

Solomon UltraFiber 500® is perfect for colored and decorative concrete as dyes and stains are readily accepted by the fiber. Solomon UltraFiber 500 provides excellent secondary reinforcement from high fiber surface area, close fiber spacing, excellent bonding within the cement matrix, high fiber tensile strength, and easy dispersion in concrete so it is always positioned correctly.
Ed McLean, speaker at the 2018 Decorative Concrete Fair, giving his talk about micro fiber concrete reinforcement, UltraFiber 500 by Solomon Colors.
UltraFiber 500 is incredibly hydrophilic by nature, meaning is readily attracts and absorbs water. This is in stark contrast to synthetic fibers - such as polypropylene fibers and glass fibers - which are almost universally hydrophobic, repelling water.
