Trademark Concrete Systems, Inc. installed over 720,000 square feet of decorative concrete at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, including walkways, stairs, curbs, and architectural walls. For the cast-in-place walls, they used Altus VOC, an in-form surface retarder that complies with California’s strict environmental regulations. The 18-month project demonstrates how durable, visually striking concrete can enhance functionality and aesthetics in high-traffic public areas. SoFi Stadium is the largest NFL venue in the country and one of its most architecturally ambitious.

Shaw & Sons Concrete Contractors played a key role in the LAX/Metro Transit Center project by installing custom architectural concrete paving throughout the site. Their work included white cement mixes enhanced with mother-of-pearl shell, glass, mirror aggregate, and granite-seeded textures, as well as city-approved gray finishes. To achieve these exposed aggregate surfaces, they used Optimus Surface Retarders, which provided consistent, high-quality results. The project demonstrates Shaw’s expertise in delivering durable, visually distinctive concrete in one of the busiest transit hubs in Los Angeles.
